Vongburi House - This traditional teak house was
built between 1897 and 1907 for the last Price of Phrae. It features elaborate carvings on balconies and around
doorways. The house has been converted into a museum and its 20 rooms now display a variety of antiques made from
teak and other items relating to the teak trade.

Phrae Governor's House - The Phrae Governor's House was once the residence
of the Lord of Phrae, known as the Chao Luang. The house was deserted in 1902 after the last Chao Luang, Chao
Phiriya Thepawong, fled to Luang Prabang in Laos during an uprising by the Shan, the house still has a prison
underneath that you can explore.

Seri Thai Phrae Museum - The museum
host a fascinating history of the Seri Thai ( Free Thai) Movement in Phrae Province, there is a map showing
where US and British forces were parachuted in during the Japanese occupation in World War 2, and a lot
